This 2-hour beginner hand-building class at Made 2 Fire is perfect for first-time potters who want to try pottery before committing to a full 6-week course, or for anyone looking to explore something new and creative.
The class focuses on the fundamentals of hand building.
Each student may keep up to two pieces, with a choice of five glaze colors. The Made 2 Fire team will handle all firing and glazing, and finished pieces will be ready for pickup in 4–5 weeks.
If you’d like to continue your clay journey, we also offer 6-week courses that dive deeper into hand-building techniques.
All materials and tools are provided. Aprons are available, though we recommend wearing clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little muddy.
